OIC of Washington’s Weatherization
programs reduces energy costs for
low-income households while conserving
energy for our community.

Why Weatherize?
Our weatherization services make homes
warmer in the winter and cooler in the
summer. Eligible participants save money
through reducing energy consumption.

Eligibility:
Both renters and homeowners may be eligible for
this program. Those living in a house, mobile
home, duplex, or apartment building, may qualify
for weatherization services. Those who received
help with utility bills during the last year
from the Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
maybe eligible for weatherization services.

Households with income
which does not exceed 125% of the current
federal poverty income levels may also be
eligible for weatherization services.
Households with at least one resident receiving
Supplemental Security Income (SSI) may also be
eligible for weatherization services. Contact

Weatherization services are offered at no cost
to qualifying homeowners. Services offered to
renters may require up to a 50% contribution
from the property owner.

Households with income 125% of
Federal Poverty Income Levels
may also be eligible for weatherization services
under our targeted home program. Some owner cost
sharing of this benefit may be applicable.

Proof of home ownership, or landlord's name,
address, and phone number is required when
applying for weatherization services. For more
