PROGRAM SPECIALIST 2

Location: Pasco, WA  |  Full-Time 

Responsible for the delivery of the National Farmworker Jobs Program in the assigned communities. Responsible for preparing clients for their future employment by assisting them with the skills and tools needed to achieve better career opportunities. Conduct the required assessments, provide counseling, education, employment preparation, job development & related services to eligible participants. 


PROGRAM SPECIALIST 3

Location: Pasco, WA  |  Full-Time  |  2 Positions

Provide supportive service to Veterans and their families in this grant-funded program. Ensure participants receive the assistance needed to promote housing stability, including but not limited to: consulting with participants to conduct a needs assessment, working with participants to create individualized housing stability plans including specific plans & specific goals, monitoring participants from the time of intake until they exit the program, & ensuring participants obtain needed supportive services, re-evaluate participant eligibility, per program requirements.


EDUCATION & TRAINING INSTRUCTOR

Location: Sunnyside, WA  |  Full-Time

Conduct skills assessments & develop training materials to assist students in preparing for a career pathway.


BUILDING MANAGER

Location: Yakima, WA  |  Full-Time  |  Evenings & Weekends

OIC of WA holds many public and personal events which are held outside of the normal business hours of 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. The Building Manager will be responsible for providing excellent customer service as well as monitoring & assisting with the safety & security of each building & our tenants in the evenings & on the weekends. Will be responding to, reporting tenant, and building emergencies after hours.


CASE MANAGER

Location: Yakima, WA  |  Full-Time

This position will oversee file & case management for participants within the YouthBuild Program, while designing, implementing, & overseeing a job readiness training curriculum.  Responsible for preparing participants for success in the workforce, including job skills, educational advancement, & helping to remove barriers through referrals, counseling, & mentoring. 


COMMUNITY CENTERS PROGRAM SPECIALIST

Location: Yakima, WA  |  Full-Time  |  Temporary

Assist in coordinating the day-to-day functions of the various programs operating within the HBCC by providing a pathway to improve the economic and educational status of community members and their children.  Conducts outreach and recruitment in the community to provide program detailed information. Deliver program services such as sports, music and art activities, counseling, and tutoring, in a positive and compassionate manner.  


CUSTODIAN

Location: Yakima, WA  |  Full-Time

The Yakima Area Community Centers Custodian performs custodial tasks to maintain the cleanliness & care of facilities.  Positions in this level perform various, custodial, & maintenance-related tasks to ensure &maintain proper cleanliness of facilities. May be required to drive to satellite locations, & may have an alternate work shift due to scheduled events. Assist with event setups/takedowns.  Performs work using Best Practices while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, policies, & procedures to provide a safe workplace.


HOUSING AUDITOR/INSPECTOR

Location: Yakima, WA  |  Full-Time

Evaluate the energy efficiency & health/safety components of a building. Gather data, conduct instrument tests & use energy modeling software to identify areas for savings & reduction of energy consumption, improve safety, & increase the lifespan of the building; while improving the quality of life and comfort for the occupants.


Information technology (It) MANAGER

Location: Yakima, WA  |  Full-Time

The IT Manager assists the IT Director in ensuring the quality of infrastructure services delivered agency-wide is maintained at the highest level, assists in managing incident responses, & preparing for future growth in the IT department.  Ensure the proper communication from the IT technician of changes in equipment, hardware, and software across all departments within the agency.  


Information technology (it) SPECIALIST

Location: Yakima, WA  |  Full-Time

Responsible for the overall coordination & delivery of the agency technology services & planning, organizing delivery, & installation of the IT Department technology equipment. Have the proper communication of changes in equipment, hardware, & software across all the departments. 


PAYROLL ACCOUNTANT

Location: Yakima, WA  |  Full-Time

Responsible for analyzing, preparing & inputting data, processes & reconciling insurance, tax & other payroll-related expenses, & prepare billing invoices for services rendered or for delivery or shipment of goods. Typically uses an automated system to produce accurate & timely payroll. Ensures compliance with all applicable state & federal wage/hour laws & relevant grant requirements.


PROGRAM HOUSING COUNSELOR

Location: Yakima, WA  |  Full-Time

provide housing counseling and education to first-time homebuyers, existing homeowners, & homeowners facing foreclosure. Teaches group classes & offers one-on-one counseling to help low- and moderate-income households overcome barriers to homeownership, improve credit scores, reduce debt, establish budgets, qualify for a mortgage, prevent foreclosure or evictions, and achieve long-term housing stability and financial security. Must be HUD certified or willing to become certified.
