CASE MANAGER (EAP)

Location: Moses Lake, WA  |  Salary/Wage: $18.84/hr  

Full-Time 

Responsible for interviewing applicants & obtaining household demographic & financial information to assess & determine eligibility for resources provided by the department programs based on the funding source guidelines. Also, responsible for keeping in communication with the applicant/client providing them with details of the program guidelines & benefits. Will also provide optional resources and referrals to another agency department program or to other partner agencies.


PROGRAM Housing counselor

Location: Moses Lake, WA  |  Salary/Wage: $18.84/hr or DOE

Full-Time  |  Shift Type: Monday - Thursday, 7am to 6pm

Provide housing counseling and education to first-time homebuyers, existing homeowners, and homeowners facing foreclosure. Teache group classes and offers one-on-one counseling to help low- and moderate-income households overcome barriers to homeownership, improve credits scores, reduce debt, establish budgets, qualify for a mortgage, prevent foreclosure or evictions, and achieve long-term housing stability and financial security. Must be HUD certified or willing to become certified.


Program outreach specialist 1

Location: Moses Lake, WA  |  Salary/Wage: $18.84/hr  

Full-Time 

Responsible for the transfer of confidential client information into a program database. Provide customer service and will perform other administrative duties such as greeting clients, answering phones & scheduling appointments. planning & participating in client outreach and events. Engage in community outreach & help individuals with referrals to other local agencies. You may be required to public speak and educate about our services. 


PROGRAM SPECIALIST

Responsible for the transfer of confidential client information into a program database and require all client information to be updated which is easily accessible through a digital database. Provide customer service and will perform other administrative duties such as greeting clients, answering phones and scheduling appointments. Additionally, planning and participating in client outreach and events. 


PROGRAM specialist 3

Location: Mt. Vernon, WA  |  Salary/Wage: $23.96/hr  

Full-Time 

The Program Specialist 3 position is a lead position developed to improve the economic and educational status of eligible migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their families.  Provide assessments, counseling, education, employment preparation, job development and related services to eligible migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their families in a positive and compassionate manner. 


Program receptionist

Location: Pasco, WA  |  Salary/Wage: $17.28/hr  

Full-Time 

Assist the Regional Manager and Program Specialists in improving the economic and educational status of eligible migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their families. As well, as support service for Veterans and their families. Provide support services to OIC clients. Establish a high-quality relationship with OIC clients, business and community partners and employers to be able to meet the National Farmworker Jobs Program (NFJP) and Supportive Service to Veterans and their Families (SSVF) goals and objectives.


PROGRAM SPECIALIST 3 (SSVF)

Location: Pasco, WA  |  Salary/Wage: $23.96/hr  

Full-Time 

Provide supportive service to Veterans and their families such as case management services to Veterans to develop & execute individual housing plans which will enhance housing security to eligible Veterans.  Ensure participants receive the assistance needed to promote housing stability, including but not limited to: consulting with participants to conduct a needs assessment, working with participants to create individualized housing stability plans include specific plans and specific goals, monitoring participants from the time of intake until they exit the program, & ensuring participants obtain needed supportive services, re-evaluate participant eligibility, per program requirements.

COMMUNITY CENTERS PROGRAM SPECIALIST

Location: Yakima, WA  |  Salary/Wage: DOE

Full-Time | Temporary

Assist in coordinating the day-to-day functions of the various programs operating within the HBCC, & provide a safe and nurturing atmosphere for the community participants to improve the economic & educational status of community members & their children. Conducts outreach & recruitment in the community to provide program detailed information, such as sports, music and art activities, counseling, and tutoring, in a positive and compassionate manner.  


GRANT WRITER/DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Location: Yakima, WA  |  Salary/Wage: $24.00 - $34.00/hr DOE

Full-Time 

The Grant Writer/ Development Coordinator will work alongside the Marketing and Development Coordinator and will be supervised by the Chief Executive Officer to identify grant opportunities, maintain an organized work environment, follow up on development correspondence, coordinate projects, gather data for needs assessments, work on grants and grant reports, organize fundraisers/community events, arrange community stakeholder meetings, working on advocacy, social media, marketing, and public relations. 


HOUSING AUDITOR/INSPECTOR

Location: Yakima, WA  |  Salary/Wage: $18.82/hr

Full-Time 

Evaluate the energy efficiency & health/safety components of a building. Gather data, conduct instrument tests & use energy modeling software to identify areas for savings & reduction of energy consumption, improve the safety, and increase the lifespan of the building; while improving the quality of life & comfort for the occupants. 


MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST 2

Location: Yakima, WA  |  Salary/Wage: $23.96 - $25.41/hr DOE

Full-Time 

The person in this position will be required to have a background in landscaping, forklift driving, janitorial & construction/repair.  Able to work both independently & as a part of a team, perform duties equal to working in a warehouse, in janitorial services & in landscaping. There will be a considerable amount of travel between the agency sites both locally and across WA state. Work schedule may require any of the Essential Functions to be completed at any of OIC of Washington worksites. 


MIS SPECIALIST

Location: Yakima, WA  |  Salary/Wage: $20.57

Full-Time 

Provide support and overseeing the activities of the National Farmworkers Jobs Program (NFJP) Regional offices in order to ensure that services are provide to eligible participants and all requirements of the program are met. The MIS Specialist analyzes employment and training data submitted by regional offices. Mis Specialist also enters information into the Agency database. MIS Specialist will provide training and technical support to the NFJP staff.


PROGRAM INSTRUCTIONS TUTOR (HEP)

Location: Yakima, WA  |  Salary/Wage: $18.00/hr  |  Two (2) Positions

Full-Time 

As a lead instructor of the High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED) academic instructional team, the educational instructor (EI) will coordinate the academic activities, design the academic advising structure, programming, and instructional support curriculum. The EI will lead the administration of the HEP Educational Assessments and Occupational Evaluations to determine the student's reading, math, language, and communication skill levels. They will provide HEP students with HSED preparation assistance and instruction to graduate with HSED credentials including academic instruction in Common Core State Standards in math, science, language arts, writing, reading, and social studies.


PROGRAM SPECIALIST 2 (E&T)

Location: Yakima, WA  |  Salary/Wage: $20.57/hr

Full-Time 

Responsible for the delivery of the National Farmworker Jobs Program in the assigned communities. Responsible for preparing clients for their future employment by assisting them with the skills and tools needed to achieve better career opportunities. Conduct the required assessments, provide counseling, education, employment preparation, job development & related services to eligible participants. 


RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION SPECIALIST (HEP)

Location: Yakima, WA  |  Salary/Wage: $20.77/hr

Full-Time 

Coordinate all outreach and recruitment efforts in target communities to identify eligible participants. Present information to local organizations, including churches, schools, migrant housing areas, and farms. Will work with the Project Director and Job Developer/ Placement Coordinator to expand existing relationships with social programs such as WIOA Program, Migrant Head Start, Migrant Health clinics and other service providers to the migrant community.


YOUTH PROGRAM MENTOR

Location: Yakima, WA  |  Salary/Wage: $18.84/hr

20 hours per month, Weekends and Evenings

Empower youth to resolve issues & develop coping strategies for their future. Willingness to provide emotional and social support and be an active listener & offering support & encouragement. Coordinate ice breakers, team building, & participate in enrichment activities, & assist youth with Registration & Check-in Procedures.
