ANNOUNCING NEW OIC OF WASHINGTON CEO:
The Board of Directors appointed Mr. Anthony Peterson as the new Chief Executive Officer on November 15th. Mr. Peterson is the third Chief Executive Officer, he served as the Interim Chief Executive Officer upon Mr. Steve Mitchell's retirement. Prior to accepting this role, Mr. Peterson served as the Deputy Chief Executive Director and Grant and Compliance Officer.
Mr. Peterson will guide the organization in its mission to help in the elimination of unemployment, poverty, illiteracy, and racism so all people can live with greater human dignity. Among several executive roles, Mr. Peterson will be responsible for creating and enhancing partnerships and relationships within the community. His duties will include planning, organizing, directing, and overseeing administrative and programmatic functions.
